"Your credit card in your name has been fraudulently used."
The Matsudo Police Station has been receiving many suspicious phone calls such as "Your credit card has been used fraudulently in your name.
Never answer personal information such as accounts you have, asset information, or addresses.
If someone calls and asks for money or a cash card, it is a scam.
Hang up the phone immediately and call the police.
We have also received a number of calls from people posing as remodeling contractors, claiming to need roof repairs, etc., or from suspicious people who come to our house under the guise of gas inspections, etc.
Please contact your local authorities if you have any questions.
Please make sure to lock your doors and windows even when you are at home.
Also, if you receive a visitor, do not let them into your house easily and answer the intercom.
If you see a suspicious person, please call 110 immediately.
