Beware of visitors claiming to be gas companies ！.

Today, in the Matsudo Police Station area, a suspicious person claiming to be from a gas company came to the station and said, "We have been commissioned by the City Hall to inspect your water heater."
We have received such inquiries as "We have been commissioned by the City Hall to inspect the water heater. If you are visited by a suspicious person posing as a gas company or remodeling contractor, do not simply let them in your house, but use the intercom.
Also, never
give out personal information such as your assets or family structure, as this may lead to a robbery or other serious incident at a later date.
If you are visited by a suspicious person, please report it to the police.
